Kimberly Zambito, M.D.

Dr. Zambito is a strong believer in providing individualized care to each person. There are many things a physician can do to a patient. Dr. Z asks, “What can I do for a patient?” Afterall, bone health is not one size fits all.  Dr. Z is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty in hand surgery. She has experience in private practice, academic practice, and on multiple deployments to austere environments with forward surgical teams in the United States Army Reserves. These experiences have kept her humble and kind with a “no-nonsense” approach.

Dr. Z earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida.  Her clinical interests include comprehensive hand and upper extremity care (she is a hand surgeon, after all) and bone health. She successfully developed a comprehensive bone health program for her previous practice and has received recognition as the first physician to introduce Echolight REMS technology to the United States.  She has published research in peer-reviewed publications in hand and upper extremity, orthopaedics, and exercise and sport sciences. She has been a guest speaker on podcasts hosted by bone health champions.

Dr. Z is dedicated to empowering people with knowledge and peace of mind through partnership and education about bone health. Her hobbies include hiking, fitness, marksmanship, providing belly rubs to her dogs, and traveling with her family and cheering on her son at the hockey rink.
